Powerglide Shifter Conversion Kit

The factory “Horseshoe” style shifters use a universal detent and the same cable for both 2-speed and 3-speed automatic transmissions. Use this cable installation kit to upgrade your Powerglide transmission to a TH350 or TH400 or to install a factory console shifter in a car originally equipped with a column shift.

This kit will convert 1968-72 factory “Horseshoe” style shifters for proper operation with the 4-speed overdrive TH700-R4, TH200-4R or 4L60 transmission. The shifter will travel the same distance in the console as the original. The conversion includes a new laser cut detent with an overdrive stop. All hardware and brackets needed for use of the original cable are included.
