1964 Impala
This
kits allows use of your 1964 factory-installed console shifter with
a newer 3-speed (TH350 or TH400) or 4-speed overdrive
(TH700-R4, TH200-4R, or 4L60) transmission. This kit eliminates
the rod linkage and replaces it with a GM cable #3956765 (sold separately).
The conversion includes a new laser cut and hardened detent for proper
stops and gear selection, a new matching transmission shifter lever,
all necessary hardware, and instructions.
1965-67
Impala

transmissions. Use this cable installation kit to upgrade
your Powerglide transmission to a TH350 or TH400
